How to Install libattr1 software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libattr1 software package provides Extended attribute shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libattr1

libattr1 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libattr1 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libattr1 *

You will get with libattr1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
